I'm Holly, a full time model based in the UK. This is where I share new pictures, thoughts and experiences from my professional modelling job, as well as features on my inspirations and favourite talented artists.
My passion is stunning visuals; from photography, films, in everyday beauty, people, dreams and the awe-inspiring natural world.
This blog is fun for me to write, and if it interests and inspires anyone that's a bonus. If you have any comments, enquiries or would like to make a booking you can email me at holly@ivoryflame.co.uk
'Looking through our work from the last session, I have come to realise, maybe properly for the first time, what a magnificent collaborator you are (and I am not one to gush to people about their talents, esp. not before several glasses of wine). What I am trying to say is that you are not only a pretty face with red hair, white skin, freckles and a deadly weapon, you are an actor, a dancer, a try-anythinger, a hardworker and the best kind of professional - worth every penny. You're also a nice person and easy to get on with! You are the ideal person to collaborate with.'
~ Eric Kellerman
What beautiful images these are, very well done on all involved.
ReplyDeleteThe shapes, lines and contour expressions here are what figure studies are all about.
Bravo!
Wow, these are amazing. shapes and contrasts. love the lighting. was it really the moon?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images beautiful lines lights and shadows.
ReplyDeleteThank you, yup Eric is a master of beautiful moody lighting and capturing awesome lines...
ReplyDeleteShirokumajapan - I think you mean was it moonlight, as opposed to were we on the moon? :-) No it wasn't moonlight it's just the name I gave the post, as to me they have that sort of look.
The first one is HDR, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThose are incredible images - I'd hang the second one on my wall in an instant.
ReplyDeleteStunning work Holly, the light is perfect, the tones, shapes and textures are beautiful. Well done!
ReplyDeleteWow I love these. I can hardly believe it's you. I don't mean that in a bad way Holly it's just I'm so used to seeing you looking so soft and dreamy and these so such hardness, firmness, tension and muscle tone, I can see you flexing hard in each pose and it's perfect for the look. Something quite different from Eric too. The usual mastery of lighting but I haven't seen him work in these tones before and with that gorgeous shine on your skin. Well done to you both.
ReplyDeletenicely done holly ... hope your keeping well
ReplyDeletebest wishes
simon
I love when great lighting shows texture
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for great black and white work as well
Woah, these are very cool miss flame!!
ReplyDeleteNo HDR was used in the making of these photos!
ReplyDeleteperfect!!!
ReplyDeleteI realy appreciate you all taking the time to write comments on these images. And yup Pix - you heard it from the man himself - no HDR! Just amazing Ericness.
ReplyDeleteYups Martin, lots of tensing... I guess something like the 2nd pose can be photographed badly in the wrong lighting... so I'm not always inclined to pose this way. But this is what I love about working with passionate and enthusiastic photographers like Eric, they push you and pull more out of you, allow you to give more and express more, enthuse you, challenge you... it is especially free-ing when you can make any shape and not worry about folds/wrinkles etc, you can twist and stretch and tense in any which way it takes you - very rewarding.
