We used the brown backdrop again for a beautiful glow behind some statuesque, classical style shots with colourful, shimmering fabric, and then nudes on the box to concentrate on interesting and geometric shapes. These are some of my favourites...

'Looking through our work from the last session, I have come to realise, maybe properly for the first time, what a magnificent collaborator you are (and I am not one to gush to people about their talents, esp. not before several glasses of wine). What I am trying to say is that you are not only a pretty face with red hair, white skin, freckles and a deadly weapon, you are an actor, a dancer, a try-anythinger, a hardworker and the best kind of professional - worth every penny. You're also a nice person and easy to get on with! You are the ideal person to collaborate with.'

I love them, INCLUDING the misfire. I love strong color saturation.
ReplyDeleteI love the second image with the gold coloured skirt thingy.
ReplyDeleteThe colour of your skin has a blueish tone to it and together with the gold of the skirt - works for me. *****
Oohhh God¡¡¡
ReplyDeleteI’m in love of the misfire, can you send me a signed copy?¡
Muy buena toma de verdad.
Saludos...
I like the 'misfire' photo and the photo were you are wearing the gold color. The flash punctuates your skin tone versus the rich fabric color.

Thanks guys, glad you like the misfire... it's cool!
ReplyDeleteKuervo, if you email me direct at holly@ivoryflame.co.uk then we can arrange a print :-)
I think my favourite is the last one, I put that one on my Model Mayhem profile.
It is a beautiful series. I like the classic tone of the whole set, but the series is fabulous monochromatic. They seem genuine classical sculptures. Thanks for sharing your creations.
ReplyDeleteYou bring such elegance and class to your work! Wonderful work in front of, and behind, the camera!
ReplyDeleteLove these! Including the misfire... "Hoooooooowwwwwwwl!" :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ros & Robert! :-D
